This year's Cheshire show saw the first outing for Jim's ASTBURY show team. ASTBURY WILLOW, a four year old Sceptre de Bomal daughter of Astbury Port, won her senior cow class accompanied with her three month old calf ASTBURY DUCHESS by Cristal De Somme. On their showing debut ASTBURY COMMANDER, an Affute du ay Ossogne son, and ASTBURY BABE, a Sceptre de Bomal daughter, were both awarded blue rosettes in their Junior Bull and Heifer classes respectively. COMMANDER joined entries from the Graymar and Cromwell herds to take the Reserve Championship honours for the British Blues in the interbreed group of four championship.
